So, Edmodo, the Twitter for Education just started their alpha phase.

I believe in the promise of collective intelligence, (real) collaborative environments, social media and everything else Web 2.0 has to offer. I believe these core concepts of Web 2.0 can have an enormous impact on Education.

I think I am overwhelmed with so much information on Web 2.0, what it is and how it can be used in Education.
The problem is that not that many people share with others HOW EXACTLY Web 2.0 technologies can be used in or as learning environments.

The purpose of this community is to share PRACTICAL ways in which we can use Web 2.0 to learn.

If you guys have used Web 2.0 to teach or to learn in the past, please share what tool/website and how you used it.
